There are no longer rush tickets. Standing room ticket holders can sit in any open seat, but must move if the ticket holder arrives. There are nearly always some open seats available, although it may be hard to get more than two together.

The bars are located on Washington Ave near Oak street (about 2 blocks south of the arena) and near the Raddison Hotel. Get there early if you want to eat. Sally's and Stub and Herb's are also good post-game hang-outs. A very popular post-game bar/club is "The Library". A 3 level club located in "Dinkytown" on 4th St (about 5 blocks west of the arena. Live music in the basement, food on the mainlevel, and a sportsbar on the third floor. The campus is located about 3 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. Many bars and restaurants are located on/near First Ave in Minneapolis (near the Target Center). | |

Another Contributor Writes:Event parking at UMN is $8.00. The nearest lot is the Huron Blvd. Parking Lot. There are two enterances, one on 4th St. SE (a block southeast from the arena) and one on 5th St. SE (a block northeast).
There are parking ramps on University Avenue (south of the arena one block) and on Oak St. (south of the arena, four blocks).
